March 2026
A big month for the V2 API, document improvements, better reporting filters, and tighter control over your Xero and integration settings.
Highlights
V2 API: Filtering, Sorting & Aggregation
The V2 API received a major upgrade this month. You can now use Directus-style filtering and sorting across all endpoints, with support for aggregation queries. We’ve also added dynamic filter variables — $NOW, $TODAY, and $CURRENT_USER — so you can build integrations and automations that work relative to the current context.
Contact types are now included in API responses, and we’ve added CRUD endpoints for notes.
Xero Invoice Status Control
A new setting lets you control what status invoices are created with when syncing to Xero. If your accounts team needs invoices to arrive as drafts for review before approval, that’s now a simple toggle.
