June 2026

New Events report columns, a custom field for measuring response times, clearer VAT on mixed quotes, profit margin on your pipeline summary, and more flexible billing and source options.

Highlights

Analyse Enquiries by Guests and Source

The Events report now has two optional columns — Guests and Source. Switch them on to see how many guests each enquiry is for and where it came from, with guest numbers totalled at the foot of the report. This makes monthly enquiry-volume and source reporting much quicker, and the columns flow through to your CSV, Excel and PDF exports too.

Measure Response Times with a Custom Field

You can now create a custom field that calculates the time between two dates — for example, how long it takes your team to respond to an enquiry from when it first came in. Pick the two dates to compare and whether to show the result in minutes, hours, or days, then add the field to your enquiries export for at-a-glance response-time reporting, with no manual recalculation.

Clearer VAT Breakdown on Mixed Quotes

Quotes that combine VAT-able and zero-rated items now show VAT broken down by rate, making it clear exactly which costs the VAT applies to. Straightforward quotes where every item is at the same rate still show a single, clean VAT total. Zero-rated costs now also display correctly as 0% in the per-line tax column, so your quotes read accurately at a glance.

Capture the Account Behind a Referral

When you set an event’s source to Referral, you can now record exactly which account referred the enquiry to you. A new setting lets you switch the referral account field on or off, so you can capture this detail when it’s useful to your team and keep the form simple when it isn’t.

Update Your Direct Debit Details Anytime

Once your Direct Debit mandate is set up, you can now change your payment details straight from the billing page. Previously these details were fixed after setup — now a simple, confirmed update swaps them over cleanly, without leaving you with two active mandates.

See Profit Margin on Your Pipeline Summary

The Grouped Status Pipeline Summary report now includes a % Margin column, showing profit as a percentage of revenue for each group at a glance. It appears on the on-screen report and flows through to your PDF, CSV and Excel exports, so you can keep an eye on margins wherever you review your pipeline.

Other Improvements

  • Inverse commission markup on costs — When you add commission to a cost as a price markup, you can now choose an inverse calculation that recovers your exact base price once commission has been deducted, keeping your margins accurate when working back from a commission rate.
  • SKUs in resource exports — Resource exports now include a SKU column alongside each resource’s name, making it easier to match your resources against stock records and other systems.
  • Import a single product from Linnworks — You can now bring in an individual product from Linnworks by its SKU, instead of running a full product sync just to add one item — a quicker way to keep your catalogue up to date.
  • Tag events through the API — Event tags can now be set and read through the API, so teams that connect EventWorks to their other tools can keep event tagging in sync automatically.
